Peach Pandowdy.

Okay. I used to LOVE this dessert my mom made all the time. So when we were BASKING in the florida sun last week, I asked her how to make it. Here's what she said:

Two cans, peach halves in heavy syrup.
1/2 cup of sugar
1 can of pop biscuits
cinnamon sugar seasoning

slice 1 can of the peach halves and spread them out in a deep corning ware cooking dish.
pour in the juice, and pour in some fo the sugar - bout half.
roll out about half of your pop biscuits (or if you have the flaky kind, just pull them apart) and lay them over the peaches and syrup. *like layering*
repeat the process for the second layer

sprinkle some cinnamon sugar on the top layer of biscuits, bake at 400 until golden brown and the biscuits have risen through the peaches and what not.

Let cool. Serve.

Variation: pour whole milk or cream over serving. Or Serve with Vanilla ice cream.

It is cooking right now, and smells heavenly. I shall let you know how it turns out!
