Okay, so I've kept this pretty much under wraps, cuz I really didn't know if I'd be able to go this time around. But.

I am heading off to Eyecon tomorrow. For the entire weekend! Steve! Jared! Jim! Chad! The GhostFacers! I am totally psyched. I should link you to my pics and report posts from the one in April! OH look, I just did! ahahahahah!

Last time, Deni and I only spent Saturday and sunday at the con, then went back on Monday for the Steve Carlson concert at The Social. But this time? We're doing the entire weekend. Friday-Sunday. Gonna cost a pretty penny, but I have a new job, and can absorb the cost this once. *sigh*

I'm all excited. Whoo hooo!

So. Um. link me to anything interesting - fic, pics, interesting news whatevs - in comments to this post, as I won't have a chance to check LJ for about three days. Cuz I'll be drinkin' and hobnobbing with celebs. LMFO!!!

Okay guys. I did it. I drove all the way back to Orlando tonight to see Steve perform live at this little hole in the wall club, it was awesome. And again, I have piccies for you all. It's nearly 2:30 am right now, and I'm falling asleep at my PC, but I wanted to get them up and posted (and cross posted, probably to chrisandsteve before I went to bed. It's getting to be a highly questionable endeavor.

Any way, had a blast, will be back with the full on report at a later day.

Okay. So, here is my EyeCon Report for Saturday and Sunday. And as promised, I went through and chose some of the best pics from the two days. Here they are.

Okay. I thinkg that about does it. I got like over three hundred pics, but I wanted to share some of the best ones I had. These were all taken with my new camera, which proved itself to be completely awesome this weekend. Y'all enjoy. If you decide to steal any, feel free, just drop me a line to let me know, so I'm not all atwitter when I stumble on some picspam later that has some of my stuff in it. I get all squee-y when I see people with my stuff -without warning - and it makes me look like a complete and utter dork! LOL.

Whew. I'm SOOOOOO glad I had most of this typed out Saturday night. I met some really great gals there. I have NO idea who they were, but awesome chickies just the same. Y'all rock. Nora, it was nice to finally actually MEET you, thanks so much for making me and my friend feel so LESS like dorks. It was a total new experience for both of us, and just thanks for keeping us cool and calm. Me especially, because I was totally going nuts before the concert. I know it SEEMED like I had it all together, but no. And I apologize for singing all the songs in your ear! My total bad.

Lemme see if I get this right: Ghost Writer(?) it was really cool talking to you in line for the Steve Photo Op. OMG. I know, I'm a total dork, right? I mean, yikes. I can't believe myself. You were awesome though, nice talking to you.

I may have met several more of you, but I have no idea, so if I did, just know it was awesome. And now, On to the con report! this is long, but I really don't want to put it behind a cut. But I will for the sake of my flist.

Then we went to eat. Chili’s.

When we got back, we were walking along the mezzanine, where everything was being held, and there was Chad, and I said, “Chad!” and he turned around and he was so cool! “Hey! How are ya?” And he winked. *sigh*

So now we’re resting up, and chilling out before going to the concert tonight.

As much as I love Supernatural and Jared, I went to EyeCon to see and meet Steve Carlson. I’m completely speechless. I mean, Deni went and had her photo op with Jared (again, pics to come) and I was totally fine with talking to him; no butterflies, but Steve? ( Totally messed that up. )

I would give you some stuff on the Jared Q&A, but it’s probably already been done. And honestly, I can’t fuckin’ remember. So much squee! If you check out killerweasel’s journal, she’s prolly gonna have all kinds of links for you. Needless to say, Jared was totally awesome, a normal guy, and completely and utterly sweet.

I'm home, gonna post more about it later, but I just want to say a few things:

1. Jim Beaver is freakin AWESOME.
2. Samantha Ferris is so fuckin' cool. Balls the wall babe badass.
3. Alona - cutenss!
4. Chad is so damn funny, and gracious and unbelievable attractive.
5. Steve Carlson is one very, exceedingly HANDSOME man. It doesn't show up in pics, but oh lord. Y'all. HANDSOME.
6. Steve Carlson live is - uhoh. I think I died just remembering it.
7. Jared! OMG. Jared rocks.

Hmm, so this is what this feels like!

I have purchased my EYECON tickets AND have reserved a room at the Florida Hotel and Conference Center. Jared Padalecki and Steve Carlson (OMG. I'mma meet Steve frikkin' Carlson!) here I come!

Bestest friend and I are checkin in on Saturday morning, stayin Saturday night (Pajama party anyone? I'll be bringin the booze...) and leaving Sunday afternoon at 12. yes. Sounds like a muthafuckin' plan, y'all.
