1. I'm straight. I'm a penis loving member of the female sex. That said. I'm a slasher, boy howdy! OMG. I love to slash the boys of my fandoms together (with one notable exception - Bones. I don't really see the slash in that show, which is weird, because I see slash everywhere!) I have even perpetrated the occasional *gasp* FEMMESLASH! I think gay romances and relationships are just as relevant, important and romantic as hetero relationships. And this leads me to...
2. You want to piss me off? You want to see me absolutely lose my SHIT and go nutzoid angry? Say the word faggot in front of me. Or dyke. Say "Oh my god, that is so GAY!" in front of me. I will go the fuck off. It's like a red haze of rage falls over me. I've had parents call me for getting onto their children (high school age, 15-17 yrs old) in my classroom for saying those things. It makes me livid with rage.
3. I'm also a proponent of the philosophy "To each his own." I'm not going to call you a bigot for not liking gay material. I'm not going to say someone is homophobic if they don't want to watch gay sex or gay relationships. Newsflash, most heterosexual people have no interest in the gay lifestyle! We all have different tastes and likes and dislikes. But start saying that gays are weird or fucked up, or that they should be reviled or ostracized, or they are in some way inferior? Or, and my boys have the most trouble with this, that the gays are OUT TO GET YOU! I will fuck your shit up, yo.
